Short but sweet…

Hold My Hand
They say that the eyes
Are the window to the soul
Providing a glimpse
To our
Joy
Sadness
Anxiety
Love
But while our eyes
 are the window
Our touch
is the doorway
To truly feel
those emotions
With each other

Wild Flowers
In the midst
Of the fear
Of the hate
Of the uncertainty
That our country can feel
It’s amazing
What a field of wild flowers
Does for the soul
I think we see
Something in the way
They live among each other
Without argument
That gives us hope
