In my last post, I gave ideas of ten things that you can do while sheltering-in-place. I forgot to mention another one…rewriting Children’s Ministry songs to fit the current crisis. Why do I do this? I have no idea. It all stared with a “He’s Got the Whole World” challenge which in all honesty, I wasn’t even invited to but decided to participate anyway. That should tell you something about my personality…I may actually be that weird friend that everyone has that they don’t know what to do with.

You don’t need to confirm that.

But just in case you are in the market for some COVID19 children’s songs, I have posted a few of them here. I hope you enjoy.

And the whole time I’m looking at these videos? I’m wondering when I developed my Grandmothers neck.

Stay safe, everyone!

  1. OH MY GOSH SHERI !!!! This is AMAZING!!!! This made me SO happy this morning. Getting ‘ready’ for work at home (working from home) and there you are singing me into my day. Thank you. It was uplifting, and funny, and YOU can sing!!!! <3.

    1. Thank you, Colleen! The songs have provided a welcome distraction for me so I’ve been posting them on my Facebook page. Some of my friends have commented that they brought them some joy during a very crazy time and that in turn, brings me much more joy! I used to sing for church but my ability to find my alto part has definitely lessened with time. So the best part of these? No one expects me to be pitch-perfect! You are still my inspiration, however, because I see what you do with your posts. They give me a lift each time I see them. Thank you for all you do!
